Counselling
What we do
Counselling is a confidential safe space for a young person to discuss worries and concerns in confidence with a trained professional counsellor.
Counselling is talking to someone outside of your personal world and building a trusting relationship to explore your thoughts, feelings, worries and concerns.
A counsellor will support, listen, and guide. They are friendly, genuine, non-judgemental, patient and will talk about anything. Counsellors can’t give advice or tell you what to do, but can give pointers and help you to find your own way forward.
Anyone can make a referral including a parent or professaional such as a teacher or doctor. A young person can also refer themselves using the Get Help Button

X’s journal is absolutely brilliant! A real keepsake from the sessions and very much a usable tool, what a great example of what Headspace can do with the young people.
